FULL DAY KRUGER SAFARI
Full day Kruger Safaris on a shared or private vehicle to focus on your interest and what you like
You will get the opportunity to enjoy this unforgettable experience with a Full Day safari inside the Kruger National Park, accompanied by an expert and highly qualified field guide. We travel in a comfortable open game viewing vehicle (4×4 safari jeep), perfect for higher visibility and to enhanced you experience, you will be taking in the beauty of nature around you.
Your morning starts with an early departure (times subject to change depending on seasons) from Hoedspruit. Although Hoedspruit is surrounded by the Kruger, the closest entrance gate to the park is only about an hour’s drive away from town. A light breakfast will be included in the safari and you will be spoiled with coffee, tea, juice, yogurt & muesli, homemade muffins and rusks.
On extra request, our famous braai lunch can be booked and enjoyed in a selected authorised area of the park. The braai is cooked for you on an open fire (weather permitted) inside the Kruger Park, with 2 different meats and local side dishes (vegetarian option on request). Lunch will be at about midday, when animals are less active and seeking shade. This will be the perfect time to stretch your legs and take a break.
This is the perfect way to observe, understand and feel what true South Africa tradition is with good food in a secure wild environment. After your lunch we continue your game drive, exiting the park before gate closing time and travelling back to Hoedspruit.

Overnight Kruger Safaris give you the opportunity to experience this environment with a private qualified and experienced field guide, on an open safari vehicle.
Your wonderful adventure will begin by meeting your private guide and hostess in Hoedspruit, after your introduction you will leave for the Kruger National Park, where your safari will begin searching for the wonderful animals that live inside it.
A light breakfast is included inside the park with natural surroundings, where you will be spoiled with coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, homemade muffins and rusks. After breakfast your safari will continue searching for the different fauna and flora species this National Park has to offer.
In the hottest hours of the day when the animals do not move around so much, but tend to rest around in the shade more, we will take a moment to stop for lunch and stretch our legs. An afternoon safari will be the perfect way to end the day and return to camp before nightfall.
A dinner can also be booked on extra request where a traditional meal will be cooked on a open fire (Braai or Potjie) with typical South African dishes (vegetarian options on request), cooked in a traditional way, while you enjoy the night atmosphere with the sounds of the Kruger National Park around the fire. This will be the perfect opportunity to share stories of this amazing place. The Braai is weather dependent and can be replaced with dinner in the camp’s restaurant.
The proceeding day/s of your safari experience will start as soon as the camp gate open around 5 – 6 am depending on the season and breakfast will be included to start another great day. The safaris will take place based on sightings, weather conditions and your personal interests; but on average the safari can be between 8 – 9 hours a day continuously or with breaks.
The Overnight safari package in the Kruger National Park is tailor-made and varies according to the availability of the Camps and guests requests. Different types of accommodations can be chosen, such as a Tent, Bungalow and/or Family Cottage. The quote may vary and depends from season to season, amount of days booked and any extra requests.

- Early wake up and departure with a breakfast picnic basket for and adventured packed day towards the Graskop Big Swing with a freefall of about 70m or zip line across the canyon
- Afterwards you will take the gorge lift down into the rainforest right at the bottom of the canyon and walk amongst this amazing creation of nature

Culinary SAFARI: Private Tour
6 Days of Culinary Experience and Safaris (Accommodation Braai Safaris Lodge and Kruger Bungalow/Family Cottage)
DAY 1
Accommodation at Braai Safaris Lodge – Marula Villa
- Check – in at Braai Safaris Lodge – Marula Villa
- Welcome aperitive with a cheese and biltong tasting
- In the afternoon a welcome Safari with a Sundowner stop
- Potjie dinner in our famous Boma at the Lodge with a traditional dessert tasting
DAY 2
Accommodation at Braai Safaris Lodge – Marula Villa
- At 7.45 am we will depart from the lodge with a breakfast picnic basket with homemade muffins and rusks, for a relaxing panoramic cruise on the Blyde river for a different view of the Blyde River Canyon
- After your boat cruise and on our way back we will stop at a local mango farm to taste and visit their famous dried fruit shop with all sorts of yummy treats.
- We will then make our way to a local village for a typical lunch in the eco village where you will spend some time with local kids and harvest vegetables from their farm for your traditional lunch. Meet the grannies in their kitchen and help them while learning their traditional way of cooking. (The Grannies cook more than 120 lunches per day for staff and kids)
- We will then end with a braai dinner in our famous boma at the Lodge (depending on the weather)
DAY 3
Accommodation at Braai Safaris Lodge – Marula Villa
- After breakfast we will leave for the panorama route and explore beautiful viewpoints such as the 3 Rondavels, Bourkes luck Potholes, God’s Window and also Lisbon and Berlin Water Falls
- After seeing all these wonderful marvels of nature we will then have lunch at the famous Harrie’s Pancakes.

Kruger accommodation in a basic Bungalow
- Wake up early morning and check out from The Marula Villa, transfer to the Kruger National Park

Useful Information
- During the rainy season which is mainly in the warmer times of the year (November – March), your safari vehicle is fitted with a roof and adjustable roll down side for rain, to ensure a ongoing safari even in bad weather conditions, Ponchos will be provided if necessary for the duration of the safari, but it’s still advised to bring along a hat, jacket (waterproof) and sunscreen as the summer temperatures can be high.
- Colder conditions can be expected from April to September and it’s advised to dress warmer as temperatures can get cold especially in the early morning and late afternoon. We will provide warm and soft blankets to ensure you stay comfortable during your safari.
- In case of bad weather, lunch will be replaced with a lunch in one of the camp restaurants.
- Remember to bring your camera (and batteries!) and binoculars.
- We will provide water for the duration of the safari.
- Game meat can be provided on request at an additional price but note that it depends on availability.
